Film Ultrasound

Film Mamo

Mammography

Mammography is an X-ray of the breast using specialized equipment. It is useful in detecting early signs of breast cancer. Physicians recommend women over 40 should be getting regular mammograms done for early detection, but in India there is a growing incidence of breast cancer at younger ages. We recommend you consult your doctor if you’re over the age of 30 to seek their advice.

Film Xray

X-Ray

X-rays are part of the electromagnetic spectrum of waves and carry radiation. They are useful in medical diagnostics because different parts of the body absorb x-rays differently. Bones absorb the most, and therefore X-rays are best for detecting bone fractures. Typically the small amount of radiation exposure from Xrays is considered safe for adults, but may not be for developing babies. Therefore, make sure to tell your doctor if you’re pregnant and need an Xray.

Film Dental

Dental Xray is an X-ray of the teeth, jaw, bones and soft tissue in the area to try to find problems. They are often done if one’s having dental problems, or before/after dental treatment to see how things are looking.
